「#1803. Lord's Prayer」 ([2014-04-04-1]) に引き続き,時代別ヴァージョンで聖書の節を読み比べてみる.寺澤盾先生の『聖書でたどる英語の歴史』の第6章で「創世記」2:18--25 の箇所が,新共同訳,NRSV, KJ, Wycl, OEH の5ヴァージョン間で比較されている.これを基にして,2つの現代版聖書を追加し,全体として7ヴァージョンでの比較が可能となるように,パラレル・テキストを造ってみた.追加した2ヴァージョンは,平易な米口語訳で知られる Good News Translation (BibleGateway.com より)と,基礎語彙のみを用いた Basic English 版(The Holy Bible --- Bible in Basic English より)である.聖書の各版については,「#1709. 主要英訳聖書年表」 ([2013-12-31-1]) を参照されたい.
Gen. 2:18
新共同訳 | 主なる神は言われた.「人が独りでいるのは良くない.彼に合う助ける者を造ろう.」 |
