#2788. General Prologue の第7行目の写本間比較[ilame][chaucer][manuscript][inflection][hel_education]

　去る11月に，開拓社より論文集『コーパスからわかる言語変化・変異と言語理論』が出版された（目次はこちらのPDFよりどうぞ）．東北大学を基盤とする言語変化・変異研究ユニットの刊行物として出版されており，私もユニットの1メンバーとして「中英語における形容詞屈折の衰退とその言語的余波」と題する小論を寄稿させていただいた．
　拙論では，15世紀の53の写本・刊本を比較できる Solopova 編 The General Prologue on CD-ROM を用いて，形容詞屈折の有無や種類を写本・刊本別に照合している．その補遺には The General Prologue の第7行を34の写本・刊本から引き抜いたリストを挙げているが，このミニ・パラレルテキストは，同作品の写本・刊本間の異同のサンプルとして一般的にも有用と思われるので，ここに示しておきたい．以下では，写本・刊本の年代により，15世紀を4半世紀ごとに区切って C15a1, C15a2, C15b1, C15b2 の区分を設け，さらに1450年前後の1写本については C15mid として別扱いにしている．形態素，綴字，句読法などの変異と変化を味わってもらいたい．
