Every year we hold a Science and Technology experience program called 'Do you know what Radiation is?' for primary, secondary and high school students (and their guardian or parent). The aim of this program is to have participants experience the forefront of science and technology that they may not be able to experience in their school education through lectures and experimental practice (and through debates in the high school program) on the topic of radiation. We also hope that the program promotes interests not only on the topic of radiation but also in science as a whole.
The program is managed by researchers and post graduate students so it is also possible for participants to talk about university life and research during lunch hours. Furthermore, the study results from our research group have been used in many ways and their use and activity have been mentioned in various public media such as newspapers.
