英語セミナー(中級):Human Behavior: Psychology and Communication
Course Description:
In this course, while leaning about topics in psychology and human communications, students will be introduced to study skills such as scanning/skimming for main idea, note-taking, building vocabulary, understanding statistical terms, and test-taking preparation. Topics to be covered include: How minds affects body, Adolescence, Adulthood, intelligence, Non-verbal messages, Friendship, and Love. Each student will choose a topic related to the content of the textbook and conduct research. The results of the survey will be presented in an oral presentation (30%) and the final paper (30%). Students are expected to ask questions and contribute their thoughts in classroom discussions (10%). A strict attendance policy will be enforced; virtually no consideration is given to absences caused by extracurricular activities.
