What is a Miniature Schnauzer?

This website is about a miniature schnauzer, which is a breed of dog.
Schnauzer means beard in German. There are three types of Schnauzers: the Standard Schnauzer, the Giant Schnauzer, and the Miniature Schnauzer. Originally from Germany, the original breed was primarily a farm dog, especially for hunting rats.
Later, more miniaturized versions were developed over the United States and came to Japan in the 1950s.
