ANNOUCEMENT

For Class on September 29, 2003:
- Buy a copy of the Japan Times at a news stand of a station near your house on Saturday, September 27, 2003.
  - If you should forget to buy the Japan Times, get a copy from the Japan Times. Look at their site and call first before you visit them.
- Use the Japan Times and finish the homework on pp. 5-6 of our class handouts.
- We will start making PowerPoint slides for your self-introdution. Think about the content of the slides. These slides are for our homepage, so avoide any information that is too personal (e.g., telephone numbers, addresses, etc.).

October 3, 2003:
- Deadline for Homework on Hiyoshi Library.
- Deadline for Homework on Newspaper English (Handout, pp. 9-10).
