1. Be ready to report as groups A, B, and C about chapters 6 and 9. I do
not want to spend much class time on this, so please be ready before the
class statrts!
2. Vocabulary test: Please make sure that you know the important words
used in chapters 1-5. By "important" words, I mean words that
you are likely to want to use as well as understand. As well as understanding
them and being able to explain their meanings in simple English, you should
know how to use them correctly in academic writing. Click here to see the sort of test you will be given. No Japanese will be used.
